Moveable Feast, Napa Taco Truck
If you're thinking 'no way,' think again. Over the last few years a select number of local taco trucks have seen their popularity skyrocket due to avid Bay Area foodies identifying them as 'fresh, delicious, and authentic.' These favorite taco trucks are carefully sampled by local gourmets and the results documented on special taco truck web sites 1, 2, 3. One of the most highly rated trucks is La Esperanza, pictured above. La Esperanza's fresh fish tacos are legendary within the Bay Area food scene.

Typically a taco truck parks in the same location every day so its customers can easily find them. The inconvenience of no available seating is offset by the fact that the incredible food is so inexpensive that it's practically impossible to spend $8 on a meal. While not every local taco truck is gourmet find, there are enough outstanding options here to raise the eyebrows and lower the prejudices of the even the most jaded food snob.

Oh lordy those tacos look good! We have a favorite taco truck here in Palo Alto on Embarcadero Way, a half block from the Palo Alto airport.

This is the second time I noticed the FogBay Favorites banner. Is it new or have I been oblivious? It's beautiful!

Dutchbaby: I've only featured about six FogBay Favorites, usually about restaurants.

Tomate: They're a great place to take visitors, a good taco truck will blow them away.
