Mini Series, Day 1 of 2
Among the many joys that summer brings to San Francisco are the various street fairs around the city. Each district has a fair that reflects its own unique flavor. One popular annual fair is the Haight Ashbury Street Faire which dates back to 1978. While the Haight District has changed a bit since the Summer of Love, the Faire for the most part continues to celebrate its hippies, hash and a rejection of mass consumerism.
