Mini Series Day 1 of 5, Taiko and Dance
Easily, my favorite festival in San Francisco is the Cherry Blossom Festival in Japantown. This year Japantown was celebrating its 100 year anniversary. Pictured here are some of the many dance and taiko drum troops that performed throughout the two-week festival. San Francisco's Taiko Dojo is comprised of 200 drummers, performs worldwide, and has appeared in a number of motion pictures. Their thrilling performances are felt as much as heard.
