Ferry, Larkspur
Before the Golden Gate and Bay Bridges were built hundreds of ferries serviced San Francisco every day. Even today, thousands of people enjoy their commute by sailing into San Francisco's Ferry Building. On summer evenings some ferries offer live music for their riders to enjoy. What better way to start the weekend then with a drink and some light jazz while sailing home on the San Francisco Bay?

Although the ferries are a lovely way to travel, as a daily commuter, I wouldn't romanticize the experience to say that we "enjoy" sailing in to San Francisco while enduring the din of hundreds of tired, irritated commuters.
