George W Bush Sewage Plant?, Oceanside

UPDATE: In response to numerous requests, if you'd like to contribute to 'Mount Flushmore' you can get more information HERE

There is a San Francisco grassroots movement to 'honor' the current President of the United States by renaming the Oceanside Wastewater Treatment Facility the George W Bush Sewage Plant. Hopes are to get the initiative on the November San Francisco ballot. If it passes by a simple majority, the facility will be renamed on Inauguration Day, 2009. The proponents of this effort feel it would be a fitting and appropriate way to recognize the achievements of our forty-third President. For those that feel that such a decision might be insulting to George W. Bush, there is little reason to worry as he will surely never see it. In his seven-plus years in office our national uniter has never set foot in San Francisco.

Sounds like a well-chosen tribute. What happens to the tribute after it is treated? Does it go to help reduce the deficit?
