Mini Series, Maker Faire, Day 2 of 3
Artist and craftsmen weren't the only ones at the Maker Faire, a number of engineers were showing of their talents as well. One hot area of creative development was transportation. The event featured a Prius modified to 160 mpg, a 1950s Rambler modified to hybrid, and an urban two-passenger car that was only 52 inches wide.

Other transportation-themed creations are pictured above including a steam punk mobile home, musical instruments made out of recycled Harley-Davidson gas tanks, and of course, cupcake cars. After the jump are photos of bio-diesel modified motorcycles, an alternative fuel lecture, and a steam-powered tricycle.
