It's always fun at the San Francisco Zoo but if you're planning to visit with kids you may want to consider taking advantage of one of the Zoo's many conservational programs for children which range from two-hour workshops to week-long day camps. There are even Wild Nights Family Overnights for children and adults. This event includes a dinner, a keeper-led nocturnal safari, a chance for the kids to feed the giraffes, camping under the stars, and breakfast. Along with educational and animal resource centers, Leaping Lemur Cafe, petting area, and children's carousel, there's a lot to do at the Zoo.
