Strawberry Hill Island, Golden Gate Park
Strawberry Hill Island, surrounded by Stow Lake sits in the middle of Golden Gate Park. The pavilion was a gift from the people of Taipei and intended as a symbol of friendship between the two cities and to commemorate the struggles and contribution of the early Chinese settlers in California. You can rent pedal, row, and electric boats to sail around Strawberry Hill Island, past the pavilion, Huntington Falls, and under the rustic stone bridge.
