Beyond the fun and pageantry of the Pride Parade there were people marching to show support for a number of social causes. Pictured above; gay parents for adoptive and other rights, fire fighters for workplace rights, Native Americans for rights of gays in minority communities, and couples for the right to be married. There were dozens of other groups calling attention to issues ranging from HIV/AIDS awareness to the need for legal equality.
