Alongside the giant department stores and expensive galleries off of Union Square you'll also find sidewalk vendors selling original pieces of art and handicrafts. Below the square itself is a multi-level parking garage. In years past the garage offered valet parking with the attendants sliding down firestation poles to reach the cars below.
