Old Tree, Sonoma Coast
Better known for its wine making, Sonoma county also features some of the most spectacular coastline vistas in California. As the Pacific Coast Highway hugs its western shore, the wind blown trees and craggy cliffs divide the ocean from the vineyards.

as a resident of sonoma county, i appreciate the excitement that san francisco and the rest of the bay has to offer. but sometimes its just best to grab ur favorite book and read under (or in) a grand, gnarly oak tree.
