Slot Cars, Hyde Street
Well tomorrow today is election day and this is my lame attempt to suggest something about this being our chance to get America back on track.

Speaking of tracks, in the late 1800s there were ten different cable car companies in San Francisco, operating nearly 600 cars. All those tracks throughout the city offered rollerskating youngsters of the day a dangerous temptation. Some kids would link bent wire through the slots in the ground and latch onto the cable. The young daredevils would then let the underground cable tow them up to the top the city's hills, release the wire, and speed down the hills, dodging in and out of traffic.

So go out and vote tomorrow today (Yes on Obama, No on Prop 8) and don't forget if you're a Republican you have until November 15th to get your ballot in.
