Mini Series Day 3 of 6, Queen Anne Hotel
One of the best known haunted buildings in San Francisco is the Queen Anne Hotel. Built in 1889 it originally was a boarding school, Miss Mary Lake’s School For Young Ladies. Today, most of the unnatural activity takes place on the fourth floor, where it is believed that the ghost of Mary Lake still wanders about. Guest often find their bags unpacked, pillows rearranged, and sometimes even experience being tucked in at night. More than one visitor has witnessed a floating bar of soap. Many guests who stay here are immediately put off by the creepy presence, but to others the spirit seems almost inviting.
