Civic Center, Marin
Revered as his final masterpiece, Frank Lloyd Wright's Marin Civic Center connects the crowns of three separate hills overlooking Highway 101. The long roof of the building was painted light blue to match the sky and gold globes outline the interior and exterior rooflines evoking the oriental influence of Wright's architecture. Inside is the Hall of Justice with its unique and organic courtrooms. The striking interior has been used for science fiction films such as 'Gattaca' and George Lucas', 'THX1138'.
