Nave, Ferry Building
Opened in 1898 the Ferry Building is located at the foot of Market Street. At its peak it was the second busiest passenger terminal in the world behind London's Charing Cross Station, with 50 million passengers a year. In 2003 the building was renovated into a locally-oriented public food market. The Ferry Building is an absolute must-see for all visitors to San Francisco.
