The Great Dickens Christmas Fair
A San Francisco tradition, the Great Dickens Christmas Fair opened the day after Thanksgiving. The annual event, now in its 30th year, transforms 100,000 square feet of exhibition halls into a Victorian London. The fair features a number of streets with shops, restaurants, pubs, stages rides, and other amusements.

Walking through the fair's streets are over 600 characters in costume who entertain, and interact with the guests. In addition, many of the attendees also dress up in Dickensian outfits to enjoy the fair. The fair is the largest of its kind in the country and is located just south of San Francisco in the Cow Palace. If you have a chance to attend I recommend that you do. The Great Dickens Christmas Fair runs now through December 21st.
