Doing the Lindy, Golden Gate Park
If you're looking for something fun do this weekend you might consider heading down to JFK Drive in Golden Gate Park for some free Lindy dancing in the Park. Every Sunday between 11 and 2, weather permitting, a crowd of people gather for mass swing dancing session featuring DJed music. Don't know how to Lindy? Don't have a partner? No problem, the event welcomes beginners and features lessons. Those learning to dance switch partners every few minutes so you can meet new people as well as hone your skills.
