San Francisco View, Tiburon View
Tiburon, originally Punta de Tiburon (Shark Point) is north across the bay from San Francisco. The town has a population of a little over 7,000 and is often compared to a New England fishing village due to its quaint nature. Between the 1880s and the 1930s Tiburon was a prosperous railroad town. from the 1930s to the 1960s the city was best known for a Naval Training facility and base. Today, this community features shops and restaurants that boast incredible waterfront vistas of San Francisco and the bay. With its warm and sunny location it remains one of the most sought after communities on the San Francisco Bay. But save up, the median home price of a home in Tiburon is over $1.3 million.
