The End of California, Lincoln Park
California Street is one of the main thoroughfares through San Francisco. To travel it is to witness the diversity of the city. California begins in the east, on the bay side Embarcadero and rises through the Financial District and up into Chinatown, and Nob Hill. Then it passes the Fillmore District near Japantown. After that it enters Laurel Heights, below Pacific Heights. It then continues by the Presidio and the family neighborhood of the Richmond before ending at Lincoln Park and the ultra-exclusive Sea Cliff area.
