Counting Tips, Jack London Square
One of the most popular tourist draws in Oakland is Jack London Square. It features a transplanted cabin where the author once spent a Yukon winter along with one of his favorite saloons. Despite the somewhat contrived feel this development the square features a number of nice restaurants, a very good jazz club, Yoshi's, and there is always some event or attraction of interest.
