Doorway, Fisherman's Wharf
Stretching from Ghirardelli Square to Pier 39, Fisherman's Wharf is the destination of every tourist and the bane of every local resident. That being said, there are some reasons to go. The wharf is the embarkment point for sailing tours of the Bay and Alcatraz Island as well as whale watching cruises. It also features the famous seafood vendors who's crab, shrimp, and lobster offerings are fresh and delicious.
