Two Couples, City Hall
During last year's gay wedding ceremonies at San Francisco City Hall lots of folks stopped by to offer their support. This couple obviously supported a t-shirt vendor as well. In America you can't enact social change without merchandising.


Historical Note: In 1948, California was the first state in the country to strike down a ban on interracial marriage. A move that prompted some to decry that the state was attempting to make a mockery of the sanctity of marriage.
